Euraxess launches an internship program for refugee and displaced researchers in Europe

Euraxess, partner of the PAUSE programme, is launching an internship programme for refugee and displaced researchers in Europe.

This initiative is part of the ERA Talent project, an initiative funded by the European Commission to promote the professional integration and career development of researchers in all sectors. Led by the Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea, the Centre de Recherche et de Technologie-Hellas and France Universités, it aims to offer to 25-35 researchers the opportunity to get a paid internship in an industrial or public organisation in Europe. The main purpose of the program is to promote the integration of refugee and displaced researchers into the European job market.

 

Eligibility criteria

To benefit from this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • be based in a member state of the European Union or an associated country;
  • have legal status in the host country;
  • be a doctoral student or holder of a doctorate.
