How are applications assessed ?

Applications are assessed by PAUSE scientific committee on the basis of the following criteria:

  • the level of urgency and threat faced by the applicant ;
  • the quality of the scientific or artistic project ;
  • the quality of the social and professional integration support scheme for the applicant.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The PAUSE steering committee selects the applications on the basis of the proposals of the scientific committee. The committee is sovereign in its decisions.

The results will be notified by e-mail to the host institution, which will be responsible for communicating them to the beneficiary.

Security and confidentiality of information transmitted

Given the sensitive nature of the information exchanged between the host institution and the applicant, we highly recommend that you:

  • neutralize the applicant's identity documents provided (passport, residence permit), by adding the word "specimen" to these documents. This will prevent identity theft in case of interception of identity documents online;
  • use only the secure application platform to apply and do not send any application by e-mail. Only applications submitted on the platform will be examined by the PAUSE program;
  • contact the PAUSE team in case of particular confidentiality constraints in order to set up a secure procedure for e-mail exchanges.
